For those new to the Fancy Prance, Esther's Friends' Fancy Prance is a virtual event inspired by Esther's love of being fancy and having fun - so wear something fancy and fun and remember Esther, while making a difference in the lives of children facing long-term hospitalizations! 

While we have categories for the entire family, the 5K Run distance is especially meaningful as that is about the distance from Esther's house to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, where Esther met with her specialists and stayed during her hospitalizations.

Other distances include a 1-Mile Run (or walk, if you prefer) and a Kid Dash!  Everyone, no matter how old or young, can get in on the fun - whether you choose to run with a necklace, glowstick, tutu, superhero cape, headband, nail polish - whatever is that one little extra thing that makes you smile and feel happy!
